Charles Sykes

Charles Sykes is a professional photographer with over 20 years of experience in covering celebrities (both candid and portrait), concerts, fashion shows/backstage, theatre, television, commercial/corporate events, and major news events. Born in Seattle, Washington, Charles lived in such diverse places such as London, Tel Aviv, Montana, US Virgin Islands, and Philadelphia, where he graduated with a degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

For fifteen years, Charles worked as the primary New York entertainment news photographer for Rex Features.  Since 2008, he has freelanced for the Associated Press.  Major clients also include Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live," L'Oreal, and NBC Universal. Over the years, he has been published millions of times in every major magazine and newspaper worldwide.

He currently lives with his wife and two children in Jersey City, New Jersey.
